Jacob's Baptism and the 100km run of the UP Mountaineers for Kythe Foundation

Yesterday was extra special becuase of 2 events - it was Jacob's baptism and end of the 100km run for Kythe Foundation by my org in UP (UP Mountaineers).

For more info on the run go here : UPM Website

First the baptism, it was fun. It's good that you have a priest in the family, it makes events like these more meaningful and memorable. Everyone was there, my whole family including the kids and Jen's family aswell. My friends from UPM and my "Designer Friends".

My "Designer Friends" hahaha...Binyagan!

Jacob and his cousins + Ryan boy

Natatawa na lang ako kasi we're the same set of people but with slightly different actvities now. Gone are the days that we will be getting drunk during parties, now it's important that we eat something first, kain tapos tulog na hehe. Jacob was a good boy until the end, he was very cooperative and silent during the entire baptism. He did not do his usual "goblin" thing at the reception.

*goblin - as in green goblin. Jacob had a spell of green poops that made his Yaya Mylene vomit hehehe

With Tito Manny, Father Tito hehe

With Ninongs and Ninangs, serious si Jacob :)

Syempre andun din ang mga friends for all over, from my HS (Lourdes Qc) and Jen's South Friends. malayong bayhe yun so they had to leave earlier. I had fun with the kids - lalo na si Ryan (inaanak ko). He's a big boy now and soon will be leaving for Australia. Favorite din siya nina Rex, pareho kasi silang mahilig sa toys.

The 100km run on the other hand was another event that I wanted to be part of. Well, I guess posting stuff online is the next best thing to being there.

Here are some pictures. You can check out this site for more images of the 100km run.

100km in 18hrs!

I finished a 42km race 10 years ago (Haha...wala ng PAL marathon ngayon). It was tough since I didn't do any training. I ran 3km and 12km a week before the race. I just thought of doing 21km, kung kaya then I'll finish the entire race. Mahirap pala, good thing kasabay ko si Bunny and we had a support team (aka LA, may dala siyang saging hehe).

I EXACTLY know where 5 hours of my life went. 5 hours means 3 days wasted in bed. Kung nag-100km siguro ako malamang nasa kama ako for 6 months haha!

Congratulations to all the runners who joined this event, kasama na din lahat ng nag organize and support teams. It's for a good cause and I hope we can help out sa susunod na event. Dahon Rangers unite!

Mabuhay ang anak kong si Jacob, mabuhay UP mountaineers!

Binyagan! ilabas ang Emperador Brandy and ang mga aso (hirit ni Bunny hehe)
